PCS Ballot: Vote Yes / Yes

Vote YES / YES !!!
PCS is balloting members for industrial action in order to protect jobs, pay, pensions and our terms and conditions.  We strongly urge you to vote YES for strike action and action short of a strike.  Here’s some questions for you:
  • Do you want a pay rise?
  • Do you want to protect your pension?
  • Are you being downgraded?
  • Have you been declared surplus?
  • Is your job at risk due to re-structuring?
  • Are you going to have to take on extra tasks for no extra pay?
  • Do you want to protect the Civil Service Compensation Scheme?
  • Are you angry about institutional racism?
  • Do you care about the service you provide?
  • Do you care about your fellow colleagues?
We have many reasons to VOTE YES / YES in the ballot.  They all point to the same issue – we are under attack by an ideological government and an IPS management pandering to their cuts agenda.  We can sit down and take it or we can resist.  PCS believes that it is time to resist.  If we do not we will regret it for decades to come as our terms and conditions are ripped up and the services our communities rely on disappear.  If you said YES to any of the questions above then you have a reason to VOTE YES / YES.
They will try to stop you.  They will make you feel uncomfortable.  They will request your loyalty.  But throughout, remember their agenda – remember those questions.  They really want you to be worse off and they want you to do as you are told.  Send them a strong message – VOTE YES / YES!
